Station of the Cross: Jesus Dies on the Cross

Notice the people at the foot of the cross. You see his mother, Mary, and his disciple, John.

Before Jesus dies, he gives Mary to John. He said, “Woman, behold your son.” To His disciple, John, he said, “Behold your mother.”  Jesus forgives as he is about to die, “ Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” Jesus take care of those he loves even when dying on the cross. He dies for love of us all. He take away our sin.
